 WHERE DO I START? 

 

Alright everyone…….Lets make this a little easier and just jump right in.

The first most important thing is identifying your niche. 

What do you like to do?  What are you good at? 

Is there something you always wanted to learn about but never did?  These are the hardest questions to answer. 

Do you think someone else is already doing that niche so I can’t possibly do it also.  Think again. 

The internet is vast open area and even though others may already be doing your favorite area you can still do it.  There are so many options open to you. 

Just to get your creative ideas started I’ve listed some areas that might help you decide what to do.

Browse through the list and see if anything grabs your attention.

The important thing to remember when picking your niche is to find one you like.

Information Overload

Are you like so many others suffering from Information Overload?

Can you say that your mind is wandering with all the different things you’ve found, read, seen, or heard.

To keep it real and simple I wanted to give you the definition of  Information Overload:

“Information Overload is a symptom of the high-tech age, which is too much information for one human being to absorb in an expanding world of people and technology. It comes from all sources including TV, newspapers, magazines as well as wanted and unwanted regular mail, e-mail and faxes.”

It has been exacerbated enormously because of the formidable number of results obtained from multiple Web search engines and informational products.

Tell me……Does that sound familiar? 

Information is always a great thing when wanted but even when you want it, when you go looking for it, the vast array of answers you will find can be daunting.  I will be the first to admit that I am an information sponge.  I look to the web, the television, books, radio, friends and more for information that I need. 

Just when I think I have it all someone might casually drop the “oh by the way” and the inevitable “you know about this don’t you” which will surely send me looking to discover even more information.  Thus the overload begins.

Managing all the information we take in throughout our day is a normal process that we have become accustomed to.  However when adding even more information to that we can quickly see how the overload effect can come in to play.

Recently I read a great book on how to manage the information overload syndrome and I thought I would pass the link over to any of you who might want to take a look at it.  It has some great tips in the book to help you understand how to take control of what you need to do.

Welcome to the first installment of …….

Easy Web Money Makers – Are They Really Out There?

For those of you who don’t know me allow me to introduce myself:

After months of searching the internet for work at home jobs I’ve decided to take you along on my journey to find a real legitimate job that I can do from home.

The internet has an abundance of offers readily available as long as your willing to put down your hard earned cash but the pitfall of the information age is that you may not really know what your getting when you buy into someones promise of how you can make money on the internet.

Of course they all tell you its possible but what you see isn’t always what you get.  Once you’ve purchased you find that there are a multitude of things they didn’t tell you but they would be happy to let you in on the final secret for an additional purchase and the backend sale begins.

You find that what you bought might not be so great once you get the actual product and navigate away from the fancy sales page.  You see that the promises they make to take you by the hand and teach you step by step always have some missing instructions but for $___ more they would be more than happy to tell you the rest.

Finding the information and honest gurus are not always so easy, but as I’m learning there are some out there.  Sharing them with you will be exciting if you are also looking for an honest way to earn money and work from home. Recently I had the opportunity to attend a conference in LA hosted by one of the interenets top gurus and at that conference he told me something that had a profound effect on me.  What he said was:

“Everyone knows something about something and everyone knows how to do something…Its what you do with what you know and what you want to know that makes the difference”.

I believe in that statemet and I think anyone who reads this could agree that it makes complete sense when asking yourself what would I like to do?  What would make me happy?  What area or areas could I promote from the aspect of what I enjoy?

Follow along as I continue down the path of looking for the job I can do at home.  Know that I will share my experiences with you good or bad and will be happy to pass along what I think works or doesn’t work.  Hopefully you will find this journey as interesting as I do and in the end I hope I can say that I’m working and profiting from what I find, have found, will use and pass along.

Hi everybody,

I wanted to introduce myself officially so you all might know a little more about me.

My name is Angie and I live in a small small town in Indiana.

I have three children ages 17, 12, and 5 and for any of you trying to do the math, let me put it this way….

I have a senior, a sixth grader, and a kindergartener. 

This is the one time when all three of them will be in school together and they will all graduate this year. Yikes!

For me the enrollment of my youngest child into school was an eye opener.  One that was filled with many questions about what to do with that new block of time that would be opening up in my day.  Living in a small town I find that jobs are extremely limited and there are so many others in need of work also.  Commuting in todays market is nearly impossible with the rising prices of gasoline and each and everyday we all see the cost of living going up more and more.  Of course we all want to provide for our families without struggling from paycheck to paycheck and without robbing peter to pay paul.  As a parent we want to see our children go to college, we want to pay off debt, and to become more finiancially independent. 

Working from home is something that I think is possible.  I see others doing it and doing it well but the truth is that they all started where we are today.  Having a home business takes work, takes time, and money so I felt like sharing my experience with others was a great idea.  We all need to make the dollar we earn stretch further and further without wasting our hard earned money on empty promises and fly by night schemes.

Over the last few months I have spent countless hours researching and obtaining all different types of resources and information.  I have taken some classes from some really great teachers in the internet marketing arena and I’m now starting to put all this information to good use. 

I hope that over time we get to know each well and that as I add more categories to my page you will find them as interesting as I do and will continue to come back for all the new updates I will be adding.
